How FOUNDERS handles information across the newsletter, THE ONE, Brew Club and the members-only Brew preview. This draft describes what the site does today and is being reviewed before it takes effect.

1. Who runs FOUNDERS

FOUNDERS publishes FOUNDERS WEEKLY, THE ONE and runs Brew Club, its New York coffee club.

Proposed contact: hello@breww.app. Mailbox to be created and verified before launch. Please don't rely on it yet.

Operator legal name: [To be confirmed: legal name] · Postal address: [To be confirmed: postal address]

2. FOUNDERS WEEKLY and THE ONE

When you sign up we store your email address, the name and details you choose to give (such as what you do, industry and country), and the emails you chose to receive. Each choice is recorded separately.

We send a confirmation email first. Every newsletter email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing is recorded.

We count unique clicks on links in our emails. We also estimate opens when your email app loads a small image; this is unreliable and we treat it as an estimate.

3. Brew Club membership

To apply you sign in with an email link and give your full name, LinkedIn link, a photo, a one-line description of what you're building, what you do, what you're looking for and can help with, how you like to meet and, optionally, a broad neighborhood. Never a street address or device location.

Jorge reviews every application himself. Your card is hidden until you switch it on. When on, other members who switched theirs on can see it.

We store your choices on cards (a pass is never shown to anyone), matches, coffee plans you propose or confirm, video links shared after both confirm, invites, blocks and any report reason you add, and café ratings you give. We email you about matches and coffee plans.

4. Brew preview

Brew is an idea we're testing. The preview is shown only to signed-in accepted Brew Club members and runs in their browser. Swipes, matches, invitation bags, café picks, times and the "I'd use Brew" / "Not for me" buttons are not saved or sent.

Like any page, loading it can still create normal site request logs (see section 6).

5. Browser storage and cookies

The site stores a few items in your browser: your sign-in session, a random visitor ID used to count sign-up steps, a pending invite code, your reader card number, and which videos you've rated. One cookie can remember your reader card. We don't use advertising cookies.

6. Service providers

Hosting, database, sign-in, file storage and email sending run on Lovable (Lovable Cloud). Hosting may keep standard request logs such as IP address and browser type.

Café details and photos come from Google Places, fetched by our server. Fonts load from Google Fonts, which receives your browser's request.

7. What appears publicly

Public pages show released newsletter issues, released THE ONE issues and café guides. No member names or member counts appear on public pages.

8. Your choices

You can unsubscribe from any email with its link, switch your Brew Club card off at any time, and ask to access, correct or delete your information using the contact above once it is live.

How long we keep information: [To be confirmed: retention periods]

9. Governing law
